DALLAS-The 54th George Lee and Simple Green Pro Menís and Womenís Handball Tournaments got underway on Friday at the Dallas Downtown YMCA. Saturdayís long day of play saw the top seeds advance in both the Menís and Womenís events. David Chapman met Vince Munoz in the menís final and Anna Christoff faced off with Priscilla Shumate in the Womenís on Sunday. 

After surviving a grueling tiebreaker with Norm Dunne on Saturday morning, Chapman cruised to his fifth consecutive pro stop win with a 21-10, 21-11 win over Vince Munoz. Former national champ Tati Silveyra served notice heís picking up where he left off by defeating No. 7 ranked Danny Bell, 21-8, 21-19. 

ìI need to work on my timing,î Tati Silveyra said after losing to Munoz on Saturday. ìAnd my serve, I couldnít get any good serves in today,î he added. 

The Pro Womenís field will also advance to the round of eight later Friday night with some matches scheduled as late as 11 p.m. ìOh well, thatís what happens when you have a successful tournament,î said tournament workhorse Jim Wright, who has been at the Y practically around the clock.
