Luis Moreno (Tucson) slammed the open events, defeating Vic Perez (Los Angeles) in the singles final, 11, 10. He went on to win the doubles with partner Andy Nett. The LAAC Wafe Risner Tournament also wrapped up this weekend with Marcos Chavez defeating Brant Bidegain in the open singles final. On the East Coast, it was a film fest that made the headlines. The handball documentary, quot;One-Wall, Kings of Coney Island quot; made its New York premiere at the Art of Brooklyn Film Fest on Saturday Night. The film follows top one-wall players in New York as they prepare for the USHA One-Wall Nationals. Albert Apuzzi, Cesar Sala, Willie Polanco among others featured in the film made it out to the red carpet event.
