2009 World Championships: Draws and Start Times Released
The 2009 Waterford Crystal World Handball Championships are only a few days away. Draws and start times are now available online.
If you can't be there "LIVE" to watch the most competitive Men's Open event -- EVER -- be sure to follow the action on the Worlds Webcast right from your computer! Viewing instructions will be available at www.ushandball.org on October 6. Webcasting begins Octover 7th.
With nearly 1,000 players, this is the largest, most amazing event ever. Players, have you seen all the great perks you receive at this years event? Check out the player perks here!

Teen Handball League Planned for Phoenix Area
 Youth handball continues to grow in the Phoenix area.
Success4kids is a non-profit, youth outreach organization in Phoenix that reaches out to at-risk youth through the Perfect Game.
Success4kids and Phoenix Parks & Rec. are starting a teen handball league next month. It is a 6-week league beginning October 17th that will take place at three different Phoenix parks.

Dan Flickstein Award Dinner: Sunday, Oct. 4
Dan Flickstein will be receiving the Carl Porter Award this weekend in New York.
The Flickstein award dinner is scheduled for Sunday, Oct. 4 from 1-4pm at the Real Madrid Restaurant, 2075 Forest Avenue, Staten Island, NY 10303 - cost is $38 per person.

Dan has been the voice of one-wall handball for the past 40 years, reporting on the results of tournaments and authoring numerous articles of interest to the handball community. In addition to having been a ranked one-wall open player, he is a six-time masters champion and has contributed to the sport of handball in many ways: as a teacher, coach, tournament coordinator, and the master of ceremonies of numerous handball events.
