Basics

  • Coaches and Mentors are provided training by attending a 1hour ''Teach the Teacher" clinic. They are given the necessary tools about the fundamentals of teaching 'Percentage Handball".
  • Players are provided basic instruction on the fundamental strokes during a 10 minute "Teach the Player" clinic. The are given the necessary tools about the fundamental strokes.
  • Players and mentors are placed on courts with 2-3 players to every coach to play short 5-7 minutes games of cutthroat or doubles.
  • Players and mentors are rotated after each segment.
  • The intention is to not overburden the players with instruction but instead to get them playing as soon as possible with qualified mentors accessible to provide advice and instruction when requested.
