USHA Road Shows to Continue

Share the Passion, our efforts to raise funds for our future, is still going strong. One of our prime methods for garnering campaign pledges is through our road show.
A road show is simply a USHA-sponsored cocktail hour, wherein food and beverages are provided. At the session, a twenty minute presentation detailing our player development program is made, complete with a request for pledges. Announcements of a road show are sent to players in a community with the help of an ambassador or other handball friend. All announcements disclose that the road show is a presentation of a capital campaign, and pledges will be requested. We do not want attendees to be surprised or insulted.
Road shows were started in conjunction with the unveiling of Share the Passion in mid-2004. Since then, well over fifty road shows have been conducted, accounting for over $246,000 in five year pledges. Below is a list of all completed road shows, and a schedule of cities targeted for this spring. We have every intention of hosting a road show in every region of the nation. When you get the word of a road show near you, please plan to attend. Take part in our hospitality, but also please pay attention to the message. Help us spread the joy of handball.
