Clinics are defined as working with both new players and coaches. Typically coaches are given a one hour workshop by a USHA Level 5 instructor then that same Level 5 instructor works with a group of new players or students so the coaches get first hand knowledge of how to teach handball to new players. Workshops are defined as working with new coaches and teachers only. Also called "Teach the Teacher" these workshops are an hour and fifteen minutes in length. They are not designed for new players, in fact most new players would be bored. The workshop goes into how to work with youth as well as how to teach the fundamental strokes used in handball.
Both workshops and clinics are free of charge and can be arranged by contacting the USHA
