USHA National Collegiate Championships - Feb. 25 results

Missouri State University won the Combined Team Title.

USHA National Collegiate Tournament hosted by Texas A&M University

College Station, Texas - Missouri State has a new name (formerly Southwest Missouri State) and a new title. The Mo. State Bears won the combined title over the Lake Forest Foresters. The two rivals placed first and second in each team division. Lake Forest won the Men’s Title, and Missouri State won the Women’s title; however, Missouri State edged Lake Forest with the combined score.

The University of Florida, coached by A.J. Arem won the first Division II title, beating out Hardin Simmons University.

Pro Handball player and Texas A&M alum Sal Santa Ana was the guest speaker, and he thanked all the collegaite players for their excellent play and sportsmanship throughout the week.

Players who earned the Sportsmanship Awards were Winston Poole, Eric Hillgren, Fiona Egan, and Jessica Kelly.

John Sabo Scholarships were awarded to Jon Iglesias, Billy O’Donnell, and Dutch Lowy.
